Minneapolis, Minnesota — Commutator Foundry Co. Aluminum Casting Warehouse

A rare photo opp of the most dilapidated warehouse I've ever seen, in the heart of downtown Minneapolis — apparently where real estate isn't a commodity(?). My research efforts of this building have been fruitless. So many questions are left unanswered: How old is it? Why hasn't it been torn down for new development? Why is there a basketball hoop?

That would be a killer place for a Mad Scientist movie.

The beauty of America - decadence in the heart of the city. Particularly love the lighting in 1 and the absurdity of 4
